Why This Code Works When Others Don’t
If you’ve tried Selkirk coupon codes from sites like RetailMeNot or CouponBirds, you’ve probably noticed most of them are the same handful of codes recycled with different expiration dates. Here’s what’s actually going on.
Selkirk doesn’t run constant public sales. Instead, they issue codes through their athlete and creator programs:
- EP codes (Emerging Pro) — Issued to competitive players on Selkirk’s Emerging Pro team. EP-NSMYTH is mine.
- ADV codes (Advocate) — Issued to players in the broader Advocate program.
- INF codes (Influencer) — Issued to content creators and influencers.
The random codes on coupon aggregator sites? Most of them are scraped EP, ADV, or INF codes. The difference here is that I’m the actual source — so you know the code is current and I can tell you exactly what it does.
Which Selkirk Paddle Should You Get?
If you’re here because you’re buying a paddle and want to use the code, here’s the short version based on hands-on testing:
Don’t Sleep on Selkirk Shoes
The code works on Selkirk’s pickleball shoes too, and honestly this is one of the best uses for it. The CourtStrike and Legacy lines are purpose-built for pickleball — wider toe box, lateral support, court-specific outsoles. Most players are still wearing running shoes or generic court shoes on the court.
Use EP-NSMYTH at checkout to save on shoes, bags, apparel, or any other gear on the site.
Selkirk Sales Calendar: When to Buy
Selkirk runs a few major sales per year. The EP-NSMYTH code works year-round, but here’s when you might see additional site-wide deals stack or bigger promotions:
- Memorial Day (late May) — Typically 15-20% site-wide sales
- Fourth of July — Occasional promotions
- Black Friday / Cyber Monday (November) — Biggest sale of the year, historically 20-30% off
- New product launches — Sometimes include bundle deals or free accessories
Outside of those windows, the EP code is the best deal available. I’ll update this section when specific 2026 sales are announced.
